In order to track down the culprit foods, she made all foods a suspect. From fresh fruits and veggies to greasy pizza and packaged cookies no food was innocent until they had passed her thorough investigation. "I took everything out of my diet for 24 hours to clean my system. Then I began introducing one item back at a time. For example, a piece of bread, I would try that and wait about four hours. If I didn't get a reaction within four hours then I knew it was something good," she says. "When I was completely sure of that food I’d try something new." After a few weeks of her on-going investigation she finally began pinpointing many of the problem foods. The trouble was her body began to pay the price. The pounds began to shed and while she welcomed the weight loss, she knew it was happening in an unhealthy way. |
