Dancer Teams with GI Diet, Shakes 53 lbs! :Aug 15, 2007Victoria V. can be described as a vivacious and victorious quitter. Since signing up for the eDiets GI Diet and losing 53 pounds, she has quit smoking, stopped getting sick and quit wearing size-16 clothes. Today, the 5-foot-6 Floridian revels in her new size-8 figure. Her energy has sky-rocketed, and her body, which transformed from 215 pounds to an incredible 162 pounds, is stronger and healthier than ever. “I can get out there and do some amazing physical things that I never thought I could do before and it’s just amazing,” Victoria says. “Yeah, absolutely my life has changed.”
The former dancer’s weight struggle commenced when her intensely active lifestyle slowed. She went from being a dancing diva on her toes 10 hours a day to sitting stationery behind a desk, lucky to get four hours of exercise a week. It got so she could hardly recognize herself in the mirror. While mentally the 33-year-old had no problem adjusting to her new job as an operations supervisor, she had not made proper modifications to her lifestyle physically. She continued eating as if she was getting 10 hours of exercise a day. “I was still eating pasta three times a week and starches and rice, and my body reacted to that and I just ballooned up.” she says. “I hated the feeling. I would get out of breath. I had never been like that before, and I decided I had to do something about this.” Bent on getting her life back in shape, she took her sister’s advice and checked out what eDiets had to offer. Discipline was not a problem for the determined dieter. Her mind was set on being healthy and nothing would stop her. What she was looking for was guidance and convenience. She found what she needed in the eDiets GI Diet plan. There was no turning back. “The shopping list, recipes and the meals were excellent,” she says. “It was just so simple. You buy these foods, make the recipes and you’ll lose the weight. “It helps make sure to keep you out of the bad aisles. You just go in, get what you need and get out and that is it.” |
