Pizza: Slice of Heaven or Diet Disaster? :Jun 15, 2007Pizza. Could there be a more perfect food? What with all the gooey cheesy goodness, the spicy kick of pepperoni, the melt-in-your-mouth thrill of sausage and, fine, I guess if you're feeling a little healthy, throw on some veggies for color. I personally like to order a large pie for dinner (and some cheesy bread or wings -- who am I kidding) and eat a few slices as soon as it arrives. Piping hot, right from the box. I don't need no stinkin' plate. Then, for breakfast the next morning, two more slices. And if my calculations are right (eight slices in a pie, right?), that leaves me three more for lunch. Plus, if it's Twofer Tuesday or Manic Monday or Free-Pie Friday, you know what that means… More slices than you can fling your leftover crust at! All this sounds great (man, I'm getting hungry), but let's bring it back down to earth. You've just eaten pizza for three meals straight -- at least. Do you know how many calories and fat grams you've just consumed? Any way you slice it, it's more than enough.Really want to know? Pick your pizza poison, and see where you stand. CHEESE PIZZA
