HMR :

A clinical/medically supervised program for obese people who have failed with commercial diets. It focuses on a very low calorie diet of liquid meal replacements, counseling and intense lifestyle education. Weight loss expectations are 1 to 5 pounds over a period of 12 to 20 weeks. The maintenance program continues for up to 18 months. This program puts particular emphasis on exercise. The costs are $20 per week for the program and $80 per week for liquid meal replacements. Counseling costs $80-$150 a week.
