Miracle Tab :Mar 28, 2007
Miracle Tab is a weight loss supplement which once contained the common diet pill ingredient ephedra or ma huang, in addition to chitosan, synthetic chromium, and several others. Many of the new "ephedra-free" products now susbstitute synephrine for ephedrine. Chitosan or D-Glucosamine is a compound derived from the skeletons of shrimp, crabs and lobster. It has been promoted for weight loss because it can bind fatty acids. Ephedrine is an alkaloid from the leaves of Ephededra equisetina, E. Sinica, and other species. It is also called Ephedra & Ma Huang, the plant source for the Alkaloid ephedrine. It is indigenous to China, India and parts of SoutheastAsia. Chromium is needed for insulin metabolism and plays a role in the body's energy production. It is found in mushrooms, broccoli and potatoes. Chromium deficiencies are extremely rare in humans and taking increased supplements containing chromium may lead to serious side effects. Learn more at:
