Michael Moore Weight Loss: Not So Sicko! :

Whether you like or dislike Michael Moore , most people can agree that he always seems to ignite some type of controversy.

I recently heard an interview with him as he was promoting his new healthcare documentary “ Sicko ”. His new movie documents many of the failings of the American health care system.

It seems that the movie has already had a positive impact on at least one person - Michael Moore, himself.

He became so motivated; he hired a personal trainer for his staff and dramatically changed his diet.

In 3 months, he lost over 30 pounds and was able to lower his blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar to normal levels.

If you are curious how he did it, here are some of Michael Moore’s weight loss tips :

  1. Increase Your Physical Activity: Walk 30-40 minutes a day - "sweat a bit" says Moore.
  2. Start your breakfast each day with Oatmeal . "I eat at least 35 grams of fiber every day. Eat foods that are heavy in weight but low in calories."
  3. Diets? "Like every overweight person, I’ve tried everything. Weight Watchers, no white food, etc. None of them work, and they’re a huge waste of time."
  4. Get enough sleep. Moore believes that most overweight people do not sleep enough and now tries to sleep between 7-8 hours a night.

At least, his weight loss recommendations are not too controversial…
